I guess we will find out on Friday. I have an external battery for my cutternt iPhone as well as a car charger. I do this for all the devices I get. I will do the same for the 910 that I am getting on Friday as well.
The Tilt had horrible battery life and if the iPhone does as well I will bitch about it as well.
Here is hoping that Apple will eventually give us the option if a replaceable battery in a future iPhone.
Boy, everyone was trippin' balls at the battery life of the Tilt and now that the iPhone is having similar battery life issues, all of a sudden the tone is completely subdued. lol

Gotta love it!

As a WM user for 8 years now, I can honestly count on two hands the number of times I have actually switched out one battery for a fresh one. As a matter of fact, my last 3 devices (2 of which had 3g), I have never performed such an act.

While it is true people will need to "manage" their devices a bit more, it is really more of the issue that iPhone 3G users will need to manage their devices more like some of the previous smartphone devices they may have owned.
Definitely Dave! Too bad the iPhone does not have a removable battery.
People will need to learn how to manage battery life on the iPhone. I have said it many times.. GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi, 3G is very taxing on a phone as we all know.
