Maybe this battery isn't for everybody but once the new iPhone grows on you with its faster browsing speed, faster downloading of emails, etc, the average user will come BEGGING for one of these! I was a skeptic until I got literally ***BURNED OUT*** at the low battery readings on my new iPhone 3G. I got this RichardSolo and solved the dilemma. A few of my coworkers have already ordered theirs---WAY TA GO RICHARD!!! :-)

If you believed all the hype surrounding the iPhone's release one might have thought that these types of products would have no market. Hmmm...guess the iPhone not so much better than other devices for battery life after all (when comparing apples to apples of course).

Hey Richard, hit the gym, you're starting to look a little pokey...
Anyway, I like products like this that mitigate the iPhone's lack of a user replaceable battery. My main issue with this particular product is that it extends the height of the iPhone when attached, resulting in a unwieldy form factor. What I'd want, and if anyone knows of such a device please let me know, is an auxiliary battery that attaches to the back of the iPhone, the combo perhaps doubling the thickness but leaving the height and width relatively intact.

These types of chargers are GREAT. Though... Im waiting for day we no longer need them.

Other than the fact that this will ONLY work with iProducts, I don't see a big difference in it and Proporta's or Boxwave's emergency chargers (which you could use with your iPhone, Diamond, Treo, or whatever device suddenly runs out of juice).
