"PS (I hope Jerry can come back. His humor offset's what seems like Steve's grumpy one word answers lately)"
Thanks Bitter. Unfortunately the new job and family have been priority lately. I hope (if Dave and company will still have me), I can jump on again next week.
BTW, just signed up with FIOS service and will be installed on Nov 15th. Can't wait to dump Time Warner. Looking forward to that pure fiber optic bandwidth baby!
@Chrissy,
The reason you have not seen anything regarding the text entry of the new HD is most likely explained by the fact it is probably the same input applications found on the Diamond. I'm telling you guys, if you want the absolutely best text input app on ANY platform, get yourself a copy of CooTek's TouchPal. I am sure it will be stupendous on the HD's larger screen. I am looking forward to using it on the smaller Diamond screen.
The new Diamond should be here today or early next week.

The old keyboard is making me grumpy. I guess I need to get a new keyboard :-)

Good show. i like the round table open discussion a bit better as long as it pretty much stays on topic. And WM news has been slow for a long time anway but you all have done a good job of keeping things interesting.
Apples new process is nice but old. That one piece extruded then CNC'd aluminum as been done on bicycles for more than a decade now.

you don't have to make me happy, I have gadgets for that. Just pointing out my opinion.

OK, you guys asked for comments, so here goes:
I may not have listened to the show as long as some, but I feel like the quality has gone downhill with the addition of teh video feed. The show used to be fairly well structured and covered a lot of relevant info (even if I didn't agree with all of it.)
Now it seems like large parts of the show are spent responding to questions from the chat room, or Steve is smacking away at his keyboard chatting (I hope you're not pounding so hard on your new mac keyboard), there's music/videos in the background, etc.
I don't think you need to take it to the level of professionalism/sound quality as TCPJ's show or anything, but decide if you're recording a chatroom transcript or a podcast. If, in your minds most of your listeners are in the chatroom, you would want to cater to them. If that is not true, then I think you are doing a disservice to people like me that download teh show each week and listen to it later.
Anyways, that's just one guys opinion, and regardless I will continue listening
PS (I hope Jerry can come back. His humor offset's what seems like Steve's grumpy one word answers lately)
PPS (BTW, disregard all the above if you are able to get HTC on the show and bust some ballz.)

Great podcast guys. Sorry I missed the live broadcast. Hopefully things will lighten up on me soon and I can get back to my nerdy self.
