Ah I was just curious Jerry, I think s60 is a nice platform, but I could see how it would feel like a large step down for a WM power user. For myself, I have been able to make it work for me quite well for my needs. I really like its built in browser and conversation from the Nokia Beta Labs. The fact that it works (unlike WM) with my Gmail IMAP is a huge plus for me as well.
I do think that it needs to "grow up" a bit to be a big time player over here...until then I'll just continue to lust after an N95.

Bitter,
The lack of Personal finance software that can sync with Quicken on the desktop was one. I found one solution (a java app) that can export/import qif files, but it didn't seem to robust. The second was the Blood Glucose apps. The third was not really software related but rather the inflexibility of the S60 standby screen. I like to have the weather and more than one day of tasks, events and such on the Today screen.
Overall, I was really disappointed in the amount of apps available for the s60 platform. Many of the apps are games, themes and "coolness" apps like "flip me", light saber. I also found that there would be some cool looking apps that would fit my needs but they were not available for s60 v3 but rather for other versions of the Symbian OS.

Interesting that he pulled his comment? Oh well..

Jerry, I'm curious, what apps do you need that Symbian doesn't offer? I know you've mentioned Blood sugar tracking in the past. Was that the sticking point?
To surur:: Whats the fun with always agreeing with everything you see/read/hear? I wonder what type of device you have and how many different types you use. I used to hate the WM bashing too, but then I got a Nokia N80 and an iPod touch.

Well, one piece of technology that I am recently extremely pleased with is the Seido 3-in-1 replacement stylus that I purchased from the Mobility Today store.
It was a great price for an extremely useful instrument that works excellent for me. The store gives you 3 in a pack for $20 bucks vs. having to pay $39 bucks for three of the same anywhere else. The shipping was right on time and as advertised.
Very happy with purchase, service and ease of ordering. Thanks Dave.
