So if you already are paying for PDA unlimited data you will have to pay an additional 15 bucks on top of the $49 if the new ROM is loaded?
Yes it looks like they disabled tethering in order to offer it at an additional 15.00 per month. Some ppl have already made the jump to pdanet (tethering software, one time purchase). Im sure someone will hack around it.
I like the few new settings, But the EVDO connection to laptop doesn't work anymore, the codes has been changed.
I installed the update and the Q seems to work snappier. As far as battery life, I thought it was pretty good before (i also have a i730, now thats a battery hog!). I used the Q for 36 hours checking email once and hour, made approx 12 phone calls around 5 mins apiece, and did some light web surfing and the battery was down to like 25-30%. I think if you can get a phone to use one battery from the time you get up til bedtime on a normal day you are doing ok. Of course what constitutes a normal day differs widely.
Much needed improvements. This battery life is pathetic
Can't wait for that to come back out!
