Sprint releases EVDO Rev A Card

Looks like the crew at EVDO forums is stating the new Sprint EVDO Rev A card is available now and is shipping. The EVDO Rev A card is backwards compatible with the existing EVDO Rev 0 network and you will NOT get faster speeds. However, when Sprint starts implementing the EVDO Rev A Network, your card will be ready for faster speeds (no need to buy a new card). EVDO Rev A will also have much lower latency and will be able to handle VOIP.

The card is $99.99 with a 2-yr Sprint contract, and 174.99 with a 1-yr Sprint contract. It is backwards-compatible with EVDO, meaning that if there is no Rev A in your area the card will still work on the EVDO (or 1xRTT) network.
