Apparently a temporary Volt software test engineer working for Microsoft has posted photos of the next soon to be released Windows Mobile Treo.Over at Treonauts a member under the name of awggie has been stating some compelling information a few days ago and was prompted to post actual photos of his claims. Just this morning photos have appeared which look to be the next version of the popular Treo 700w.

The user stated that the device runs on Windows Mobile 5 in which the model in the photograph is GSM, and features UMTS 3G broadband data. It features 128 MB of flash memory, 64 MB of RAM, a 300 MHz processor (presumably the 312 MHz PXA270), 240 x 240 screen, and 1.3 megapixel camera. He also reported speeds of approximately 530 Kbits per second on Cingular's UMTS network.
Doing some searching on the internet apparently this user is a member of MySpace and clearly states in his profile that he has a temporary contract for Volt and currently working for the Mobile and Embedded Devices section Microsoft as a Software Test Engineer.
Also doing some more research apparently his name is Adam. Interesting enough it seems as if he has spilled the beans on other site such as QUsers speaking about the Motorola Q.
He also speaks about bugs on the Motorola Q where he states "i just checked my email, there are two bugs from TA trials in our database, both seem to be 'non blocker' type... one is for translations in one part of the UI (CHS, GER, etc). The other one already has a fix ready to check in, but is on hold waiting for more feedback from VZW."
On another note apparently he is testing the T-Mobile SDA for what he calls AKU3.
Readers can see all of his postings at Q Users here
Also read all of his posts at TreoCentral over here where users will find a ton of information about this next generation Treo.
