Motorola Q Verizon Style

Looks like someone already got their Verizon Motorola Q before everyone else. Rumor has it prices on this baby are in excess of $2,500!!! Either way it sounds to me as if he isnt too familiar with Windows Mobile... Here is what he has to say...

Should be out Jan-Feb on Verizon. I don't like it actually, before I got the 8700 I loved it, but now it's not that great. Only thing is the multimedia support and the web browsing on EV-DO is amazing. So emotional. Keys are no way near the 8700's abilities. They are probably 2x worse than the Treo 600. I do know that this is not the final hardware and think they are redoing the keys... I will take some shots of the devices side by side for comparison something that really caught me was how thin the Q really is compared to 8700...

Guys,

It's not a Pocket PC. It's a smartphone. It's meant to be navigated without a touchscreen.
The lack of a touch screen is definately a problem. I wanted one for my wife, but she'd go nuts without a touch screen. Perhaps I haven't paid close enough attention, do the comparable devices have a touch screen? I've never used the phone edition software. J
Its WMSP so no touch screen, but thats what the Treo700w will do for us on Verizon.

But why would someone pay $2500 for a device they don't understand or know how to get the most out of it.
Neat I guess, but no touch screen=no deal for me...
