Verizon was nice enough to send me a new LG VZW TV phone that quite honestly I am really enjoying. Since this doesn’t buffer video the quality is just fantastic (sorry you cant tell by the picture) and the coverage model is pretty impressive. Another feature I am enjoying is the ESPN web service which Verizon bought a few year ago. So far I get 12 channels of live TV varying from CBS, NBC,ABC, Comedy Central and many more. As I write this article I am actually on the train watching the Today show. It will be very interesting to see if we will ever have this service on a Windows Mobile phone? Personally I don’t see why not but we probably won’t see it for a while in the USA..

What are all of the channels that it gets? Do you get advertisements, too, I assume? How much do you think this type of service costs monthly? It has always somewhat surprised me that TV is not a standard on all phones.

Ok... Just so everyone knows I am not ditching my Blackjack II for the Verizon TV phone. Also all you Slingplayer junkies the quality on the VZW TV is much better quality than I can get on my Sling w Wifi!!! Also thanks to Steve for posting this for me while I was on the train!
