Verizon v3c production photos

VERIZON V3C/EVDO RAZR

The CDMA version of the popular RAZR ultra-thin clamshell phone. Key features include EV-DO high-speed data, Bluetooth, and a megapixel camera with video capture. Other features include dual color displays, speakerphone, speaker-independent voice dialing, and an internal antenna. Users should note the interior LCD of the V3c and original V3 are the same.

The real reason why Verizon gets phones like the V3 6 months behind Cingular is that the worldwide market for CDMA is much smaller than GSM. Where do you think Motorola is more likely to make money?
Verizon Wireless will never go GSM, because even though GSM is an amazing idea, it's still has 5-10 years of development to be as strong as CDMA. The reason why Verizon Wireless didn't go GSM in the whole separation about 5 years ago, is because they saw that in the future (and we can see that they were right) CDMA would be cheaper to work with, and cheaper to maintain. Verizon Wireless is the only company that even though other companies have more customers, makes more money than any other, sometimes, double...
I think the razr will be great, and is unfortunete that some customers that they lost because VZW didn't have it, but oh well, i'm sure they'll gain double the people that left.
That and the fact that the updated Razr will have improved specs and we get the old one. Disappointing.
Ahhh, thanks Reidan, I get it now. Yea, they definitely like to play the games. Good for the carriers business, bad for consumers needs. Ain't that just the way though?
I think he means he wishes that CDMA and GSM models of the same phone would come out at the same time. Unfortunately this is a marketing game that manufacturors and retailers play. Cingular says to Motorola, I will sell your new V3, but only if you give me 6 months exclusive sells before you release the CDMA version. Verizon says to Palm, I will sell the new Treo 700 if you give me 6 months exclusive before you release the GSM version. Vicious cycle of one-up-manship between the companies involved.
PPCMD, what is Verizon so far behind in on the GSM side, from what I understand Verizon is CDMA technology not GSM.
Very nice. Just wish Verizon wouldn't be so far behind the GSM side.
Very cool and with EVDO very fast!
